Abstract
: Jönsson, B. (Department of Health and Society, Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden). Assessment of quality of life in chronic diseases. Acta Paediatr Scand [Suppl] 337:164, 1987.Quality of life refers to a person's subjective perceptions of his or her well‐being, and undertaking an assessment of quality of life involves a number of methodological considerations. Indeed, a number of studies have applied methods for such assessments in chronic disease. These studies are relevant as a means of optimizing treatment and for establishing priorities on health care resources. Keywords
