Electrochemical Polarization of Titanium in Aqueous Solutions of Sodium Chloride

Abstract
Cathodic and anodic polarization curves for titanium in neutral solutions were determined over the range 0.02 μa/cm2 to 0.01 amp/cm2. These were derived from steadystate values of time‐potential curves measured by the direct method using a thermionic amplifier to limit current in the potential measuring circuit to 10−12 amp.
