Practical and Emotional Aspects of Soiling in Children with Anorectal Anomalies

Abstract

Follow-up studies of children treated for anorectal anomalies show problems with soiling or incontinence after surgery. The complex interaction between somatic factors and practical and psychosocial problems in these families was discussed.
