Abstract
Configuration interaction wavefunctions are used to calculate oscillator strengths for 3s2 1S0-3s3p 3PJ and 3s3p 3PJ-3s3p 3PJ' transitions in Al II. The calculations include the effect of the interaction between core and valence electrons. Keywords
