Abstract
A kinetic model has been used to estimate the rate constant for the reaction of superoxide (O2.-/.OOH) with the superoxide spin adduct of 5,5-dimethylpyrroline-N-oxide, DMPO/.OOH. This rate constant is estimated to be 4.9 (+/- 2.2) x 10(6) M-1 s-1, pH 7.4 and 25 degrees C.Keywords
