Abstract
Thyroid hormone materially influenced the metabolism of administered estradiol-16-C14in vivo in human subjects. The same individuals were studied at two different levels of thyroid hormone. When thyroid hormone was elevated there was a sharp decrease in the fraction converted to estriol and an increase in the fraction converted to 2-methoxyestrone. There was relatively little change in estrone. Keywords
