Abstract
In poikilothermal animals, modes of behavior and other physiological functions are dependent on the environmental temperature. Individual adaptation can decrease or cancel out this dependency. In experiments involving abrupt and slow temperature changes, temperature compensations and stress effects in the courting behavior of the male P. reticulata were examined. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
