Abstract
Data are presented on the production and subsequent isochronal annealing behavior of thermal-neutron damage in 14 high-purity metallic elements. Values are obtained for the specific resistivity associated with the damage produced by neutron capture at 3.6°K. Comparison between experimental damage-production results and simple displacement theory is made for some elements. Comparisons are made between the recovery behavior of the various metals, as well as comparisons with other damage-production methods.
