Abstract
Nanoscale patches, created by nanografting a maleimide-terminated thiol into a self-assembled monolayer, were elaborated by sequential chemical reactions. Each stage in the nanofabrication was followed by atomic force microscopy (AFM), providing a controlled approach to the fabrication of novel three-dimensional (3D) surface nanostructures. Keywords
