GAS-CHROMATOGRAPHIC DETERMINATION OF D-MANNITOL IN BODY-FLUIDS

Abstract

A rapid, highly reproducible method is described for the determination of mannitol in body fluids. The method is based on the gas chromatography of the n-butylborate derivative. Recovery is greater than 90%, and the variation coefficient within the series is 1-3%.
