Abstract
Summary: Adipose tissue has been shown to retain its sensitivity to the antilipolytic effects of insulin during late pregnancy. This suggests that during late pregnancy, increased adipose tissue lipolysis is due to a lipolytic factor rather than insulin resistance. Keywords
