Abstract
A comparison of control channel frequency allocation methods is carried out and the most suitable method for high-capacity systems clarified. In order to realize this method, a new technique, called MSSC, is proposed. A comparison with the accuracy of measured field strength using the conventional method, shows MSSC to be more effective in location measurement. A paging channel design employing this technique is also discussed. Keywords
