Abstract
Strombus vomer vomer (Roding 1798) is recorded from north‐eastern Northland, New Zealand, the first record of the family Strombidae from New Zealand Recent fauna. Some other New Zealand records of tropical and subtropical Mollusca are commented upon.Keywords
