Abstract
In laser photoradiation therapy in which the laser light is delivered to the treatment site by a fibreoptic cable, the irradiance of the beam emerging from the fibre is not uniform. It tends to be peaked around its central axis. A method for flattening this peaked profile is described which involves inclining a transparent slab of perspex in front of a converging lens. Keywords
