Abstract
Summary It is our firm belief that the objections cited by some of our colleagues for not performing coloscopy are without merit. If one prepares for coloscopy by foresight and precaution, with careful attention to detail before and during operation, the rewards justify having the instruments working and ready, the additional operating time, and the low associated morbility. Keywords
