Abstract
Replacement of body fluids and electrolytes plays a decisive role in the survival of the severely burned. This must be accomplished without overexpanding the circulation, in the face of acidosis and cellular breakdown with increased viscosity and hypercoagulability of the blood. Dr. Fox sets forth a multifaceted therapeutic program that seeks to meet this need. Keywords
