Abstract
Discography as a diagnostic method is not a panacea and has distinct limitations. It should not replace myelography but is a useful adjunct, particularly in those cases in which myelography has not been helpful and in which conservative management has failed to produce improvement. It is particularly helpful in determining the level of fusion and selection of patients with cervical disks that need to be fused. Keywords
