Abstract
The low frequency band modes associated with interstitial hydrogen in the alpha phase of two Pd-Ag alloys containing 10 and 20 at% of silver have been studied at a number of temperatures over the range 428-623K by cold neutron inelastic scattering. The frequency distribution functions obtained from the scattered neutron distributions have been compared with the reported normal mode frequency distribution of pure palladium. Keywords
