Abstract
Topical application of apholate on the 4th, 5th, and 6th larval stages and pupa of male Choristoneura furniferana (Clemens) resulted in high mortality, low mating success, and very little sterility. When the adult male moth was treated with metepa at a concentration of 35 µg/male, 100% sterility was achieved.
