Abstract
Synthesis of filters having asymmetric insertion loss poles as cross-coupled cascaded trisections (CT) of resonators is presented. The theory is applied to the design and realization of cellular PCS base station dielectric resonator filters with extremely demanding requirements on selectivity, out of band rejection and pass band insertion loss. Measured results are presented which demonstrates the validity and accuracy of the theory and design. Keywords
