Interpretation of Gamma-Ray Spectra of Environmental Forage Samples

Abstract
In studies to determine the fallout deposition of 137Cs, pasture forage samples were collected and analyzed for this radionuclide by gamma-ray spectrometry. In determining the concentration of 137Cs there was opportunity to observe the effects of interfering gamma-ray emitters due to fallout fission product and activation product activity as well as gamma-ray emitters from the natural occurring series.
