Abstract
A number of decamethylenebis[4-(substituted amino)quinaldinium acetates] have been prepared and certain of these showed markedly increased antibacterial activity compared with the unsubstituted compound. Local therapeutic activity, assessed by mouse protection tests, reached a maximum in the C3–C6 range of the n-alkylamino-homologues, but increased activity was associated with increased toxicity. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
