Abstract
E.M. observations on Salpingoeca spinifera Throndsen are reported, and Salpingoeca minor sp. nov. is described. Both species occur in the Barents Sea. S. minor is smaller than S. spinifera and its lorica lacks the elegant spiral twist of Throndsen's species. Keywords
