Abstract
This work provides a method of determining the time evolution of the electron temperature of a pulsed plasma, in the case in which the standard techniques fail during some of the time intervals of the plasma life. The concept of the method consists of using data corresponding to the intervals at which the temperature is known to determine the parameters that relate it to the intensity of a given line. In the remaining time intervals the temperature can be computed with the help of these parameters. As an example, we will present the case of a pulsed helium plasma. Keywords
