Abstract
The residual resistivities of dilute alloys of gold are calculated by the same method which was employed in a similar study of the residual resistivities of copper and silver alloys. As in the earlier work, the calculated results agree well with experiment with the exception of the alloys gold-copper and gold-silver. The application of the modification of the Friedel sum condition to other problems is suggested. Keywords
