Abstract
Two methods to prepare Cd and Zn telluride layers electrochemically on a Te electrode situated in electrolyte are described. Crystalline, photoelectrochemical, and spectral sensitivity properties of the layers are described. The simplicity of the preparational methods and the various interesting semiconductor and photochemical properties of the resulting telluride layers lend themselves well to instructional purposes.
