Abstract
Clinical trials with candidate malaria vaccines have given moderate to poor protection levels. Basic experimental studies designed to induce an improved immunity have produced good results, but the extent to which antigenic diversity of the parasite could nullify the effectiveness of any vaccine remains to be established.Keywords
