Abstract
An analysis of five proprietary tissue conditioners was made. The polymer powders were generally a blend of copolymers based on poly(ethyl methacrylate); the liquid was a mixture of an aromatic ester (commonly butyl phthalyl butyl glycolate) with up to 30% ethanol. Rapid gelling occurred because ethanol is a solvent for poly(ethyl methacrylate) .Keywords
