Abstract
A genetic and clinical study is presented of a family of 8 persons (3 boys, 3 girls, and their parents) in which diabetes mellitus is present in the 3 male siblings. The diabetes mellitus is probably inherited as a sex-linked recessive characteristic with heterozygous parents. Other genetic characteristics are presented. Considered mathematically, growth retardation and blondness in the same siblings are thought to be inherited as recessive autosomal characteristics with a homozygous mother and a heterozygous father. Keywords
