Abstract
Conventional methods of measuring tidal current velocities generally use current meters. A method of supplementing this data has been developed using aerial photography and photogrammetric measurement techniques. The application of photogrammetry to current surveys requires the absolute orientation of photographs on stereoscopic plotting equipment and the marking of the water surface to permit the identification of specific surface points stereoscopically. A synoptic view of the circulatory pattern over a large area is provided. Keywords
