Abstract
The authors detail their experience with partial exchange transfusion performed through peripheral vessels in 35 polycythaemic newborn infants. They suggest that this alternative procedure might be the method of choice for short term exchanges, since it is easy to apply and avoids the risks associated with umbilical vein catheterisation. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
