Abstract
Control is considered as a process of successive approximations to a desired solution, using the principle of contraction mapping. Applications to linear and non-linear problems are discussed, as well ns systems characterized by a variable transformation, which are important from the point of view of ‘ self-organizing ’ systems. Keywords
