Abstract
Some results obtained during the last years from x-ray investigations of solid addition compounds thought to be formed by electron transfer between molecules containing closed shell atoms are discussed. It is hoped that the results which apply directly to solids only might contribute to the understanding of the bonds formed also in the complexes which have been proved to be present also in liquid mixtures. Keywords
