Abstract
Oscillator strengths (f numbers) and Franck—Condon factors for the A—X and B—X band systems of CF are presented. Separate results for CF(A—X) based on directly measured radiative lifetimes and shock‐tube intensities are compared. These data indicate that the heat of formation for CF2 and especially CF may be significantly different from the accepted JANAF table values. Keywords
