Abstract
Nutritional counseling for ethnic patients requires understanding and individualized tailoring to personal preferences. An appreciation and un derstanding of cultural differences may be enhanced by visiting ethnic markets and gourmet stores. Measuring units and equipment may be different in an ethnic household. Nutritional coun selors must also be careful to recognize that individual habits and customs oc cur within each ethnic group.Keywords
