Abstract
Problems of spectral representation are investigated for the processes where a nucleon collides with a boson resulting in a single nucleon and two bosons. The kinematical system proposed by Polkinghorne, Kibble, and Logunov is considerably simplified and Lorentz-generalized. For the double Compton effect, an alternative proof is given for the dispersion relation originally derived by Logunov, Bilenkiz, and Tavkhelidze. Also for the double Compton effect, two other single-variable dispersion relations are shown to be valid. Keywords
