Abstract
A simplified procedure for culturing Trypanosoma cruzi and Leishmania donovani is described. The method uses a modification of Wenyon''s blood agar in screw-capped test tubes at room temperature, and has the advantage of allowing uncontaminated cultures of these hemoflagellates to survive in good condition for at least 9 to 11 months. Keywords
