Abstract
The anisotropy between the drift velocities in the [100], [110], and [111] directions in -type germanium has been calculated using the Monte Carlo approach with several variance-reducing methods included. The calculations include the effect of the valleys. The theoretical curves are compared with experimental results. Qualitative agreement is obtained.
