Abstract
To determine the efficacy of physical therapy in encouraging motor development, this paper applies Sackett's rules of evidence. These rules measure the trustworthiness of evidence and categorize them accordingly. The author identifies four critical variables in the study of PT efficacy and analyzes the existing research in light of these variables. Recommendations about treatment are made based on the research. Keywords
