Abstract
This paper describes the instrumentation and reports the statistical analysis of conductor corona generated audible noise and radio noise measured at two recording stations. These stations are located near operating 765 kV lines of American Electric Power. Data covers a four year period when lines were energized at 705 kV, 725 kV, 750 kV and 760 kV. A comparison is made between the operating lines and a similar line at the Apple Grove 750 kV Test Project. Keywords
