Abstract
For a dilute system of macroions of rigid core a simple method is presented for the evaluation of the internal energy and other thermodynamic functions in the chain diagram approximation. The results, when expanded for high temperatures in dimensionless constants, are composed of terms representing the effects of the hard core only and those due to coupling between the hard core and the Coulomb force. Keywords
