Abstract
In the canine species glaucoma usually presents as an acute condition, and the clinical and pathological features are constant in the vast majority of patients. However, variations in the degree of involvement are seen, and the presenting clinical picture together with the extent of associated pathological change are directly related to the amount of aqueous humour outflow impairment and the duration of the glaucomatous state.
