Abstract
Absorption studies were carried out in 13 anesthetized dogs using thyroglobulin, KI, thyroxine, and split products of digested thyroglobulin. All the compounds were absorbed but the split products of thyroglobulin at a much slower rate than whole thyroglobulin. The rate of thyroglobulin absorption from Thiry-Vella fistulas was faster in un-anesthetized dogs. Anaphylaxis was observed in sensitized guinea pigs after thyroglobulin was introduced into the gut. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
