Abstract
SCLEROCOLLUM rubrimaris gen. et sp. nov. from Siganus spp. differs from other Rhadinorhynchidae in lacking trunk spines but possessing irregular plaques of hook material in the wall of the anterior trunk. S. robustum (Edmonds 1964) comb. nov. is included in the new genus (ex Neorhadinorhynchus robustus E. 1964). Arhythmacanthus overstreeti sp. nov., found in Silhouettea insinuans, differs from all other species in the genus in numbers and sizes of proboscis hooks and in having spines over the entire trunk. Arhythmacanthus plotosi (Yam. 1955) comb. nov. is removed from Heterosentis. Golvanacanthus blennii Paggi et Orecchia 1972 is reported from several new host species and its hooks are redescribed. Other species recorded are Neoechinorhynchus agilis (Rud.), N. coiliae Yam. and Filosoma sp.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
