Abstract
Ten children with cystic fibrosis were given infusions of Intralipid or a similar number of calories from 10% glucose every other wk for 1 yr. The children who received Intralipid gained significantly more in height and weight than during their previous year and on cumulative data analysis showed greater improvement (23 of a possible 45 points) than did the control group (-2 points). Both groups appeared to benefit from the increased medical attention. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
