Abstract
A few BiM2X5-type of chalcogenides(BiTi2S5, BiNb2S5, BiTa2S5, BiNb2Se5) have been prepared from the elements. On the basis of powder X-ray diffraction, it is suggested that they have composite-layered structure in which a BiX layer and two adjacent BX2 layers are stacked alternately. Intercalation of hydrazine into BiM2X5 has been observed. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
