Abstract
This study illustrates the use of an individual free token/response cost system to decrease the stuttering of an elementary level student. A reversal design was employed. Results show that a free token/response cost system is a viable and effective method for decreasing stuttering. Reasons for the effectiveness of this technique are discussed.Keywords
