Abstract
We present a numerical investigation of all‐optical switching of solitons in two‐ and three‐core nonlinear fiber couplers. Both self‐switching of solitons and phase‐sensitive switching are considered. The extension of the results to multicore couplers is briefly discussed. © 1991 American Institute of PhysicsThis work was supported by the Joint Services Optical Program of the Air Force Office of Scientific Research and the Army Research Office, the Army Research Office (DAAL03-88-K0066), and J.
