Abstract
A microscopic model for the mixed crystal Rb1−x(NH4)xH2PO4 is introduced which takes into account the acid protons as well as the NH4 groups. Using Monte Carlo simulation, the topology of the experimentally determined phase diagram is reproduced rather well, including the onset of freezing into a glasslike state. Keywords
