Abstract
In situations where there are competing demands for health care resources and uncertainties in the implementation of a variety of preventative health policies, the techniques of economic appraisal provide one model for rational choice. This study is an economic evaluation of the costs and benefits of vaccination against hepatitis B infection (HBV) in health care workers and homosexual men. Keywords
